I've been interested in black and white over the past few months, and thought that I should go back and maybe redo some of my color photos in black and white.
This is one of my more recent works, coming from the 2006 OneFest concerts.
This is very neat. The fog behind the guitarist makes a beautiful effect with the light as well as a great contrast with his body. You have caught him quite well, though I am not sure that this works well with the song. I don't know the song therefore I don't know if it work, but it has a very calm feelings to it. The depth of field is great too, making everything in teh back a little eerie and vague, but also bringing the pedals into focus very well. It is like a little extra something on the side. The exposure is perfect, but I wish there was a little better balance between blacks and whites. The blacks are a little lacking. GREAT CAPTURE!-Steve!

Some of these color to b&w shots are really growing on me... this one in particular. I love the color, but the photo itself really just jumps out at me here.
both the colour and the black and white versions of this are great but with black and white it gives it an entirely different mood and really makes the guitarist stand out more aswell, great work

This is beautiful! At first I wasn't sure it wasn't a painting. You captured the spirit of Rock very well in this one! Yeah!!! *headbangs*
