Artist's Comments

Probably one of the luckiest photographs that I have ever taken. It was originally going to be a full panoramic shot of the Florida coastline from the bay, but instead turned into a once in a lifetime photo.

Edit: Added a border, played with levels a bit to brighten the image and attempt to remove some of the graininess, and also made the image larger.

Edit, pt. 2: *Finally* managed to remove the graininess from the picture... lemme know what you think now. And do you actually like that border?

Oh, i LUV stormy shots. Lightning shots are really neat and i like this one, and the fact that it was complete accident is all the better. You were definatly lucky i'd say, its a pain trying to catch them lil lightning bolts, them buggers. Anyhow, great job with this 'lucky' shot^__^

nice shot, i like the green city below with the purple, thel ightning itself looks like some kind of being looking over the world. Nice colour dont often see purplel ightning one time i watched a beach thunderstorm full of red fork lightning
